The Library will be closed Monday, September 6th for the Labor Day holiday. The Library will be closed Sundays through Sunday, September 5th.

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 15TH TO SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 18TH
SEE WHAT KIND OF BARGAINS YOU CAN PICK UP! The Friends of the Community Library of Castle Shannon will be holding their Fall Used Book Sale on the following dates:
Wednesday, September 15th from 5pm-8pm
(There will be a $3 entrance fee this evening. Children under 12 are free. Refreshments will be served.)
Thursday, September 16th from 1pm-8pm
Friday, September 17th from 1pm-8pm
Saturday, September 18th from 10am-2pm
Books-Only Bag Sale Everyday!!!($6 a bag---Bags will be provided---No Best Sellers or Cookbooks Allowed)

Did you know that we are working hard to be environmentally friendly and that our recycle bins are there for the whole community to use? Ever wondered how paper is recycled? This video takes you through the process.We even earn money for the paper we collect.
This is a way you and your family can support us without having to reach into your pocket!
