PART-TIME LIBRARY ASSISTANT/PAGE POSITION

The Community Library of Castle Shannon, conveniently located south of Pittsburgh, is seeking a part-time Library Assistant/Page.

The position is 16 hours per week (Wednesdays 1pm-9pm, Thursdays 5pm-9pm, Fridays 1pm-5pm) plus one to two Saturdays a month & a Sunday if needed.

Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Shelving library materials
• Serving patrons at the circulation desk

Job consists of:

• Bending
• Lifting (must be able to lift 25 lbs.)

Computer Experience is Required
High School Diploma/GED Needed

$8.50 per hour

PART-TIME DESK SUPERVISOR

The Community Library of Castle Shannon, conveniently located south of Pittsburgh, is seeking a part-time evening/weekend desk supervisor.

The position is 21 hours per week (Tuesdays 1pm-9pm, Wednesdays 1pm-6pm and Thursdays 1pm-9pm) plus one to two weekends a month.

Job responsibilities include: supervising evening and weekend staff members, assisting patrons, answering reference and computer questions, performing opening and closing procedures and other responsibilities assigned by the Library Director. Knowledge of computers is essential.

Bachelor’s Degree and customer service experience is required.

$12.50 per hour
